The OBLAST forklift magnet is a fork mount design that allows you to use your forklift to pick up ferrous metal debris and then lift the OBLAST over a disposal / scrap bin for easy removal by using the easy flip down pivoting stainless steel debris tray.
Heavy duty construction of steel and stainless, with UHMW bushings on the rotating stainless steel debris tray for long life and a solid feel.
Ground strike protection is provided by the angled front and rear of the stainless steel debris tray which reduces the width of the bottom flat section and therefore limits magnet contact with the ground, and prevents damage if the magnet does contact the ground because there is no hard edge to “catch” on the ground.

The Lynx magnetic sweeper is powered by a permanently charged 4.5” x 4.5” C8 magnet assembly which is light enough to work on any skid steer or track loader and almost any sub compact tractor with loader arms and a universal skid steer adaptor plate.

Just hook into the Meerkat and go without needing to attach hydraulic connections. The Meerkat is a powerful magnetic sweeper that attaches to any skid steer or track loader with a universal adapter plate. This sweeper has three pivoting C8 magnets that can pick up a 2.5” nail from 10” off the ground and easily release it using the gravity powered Swing-Out Clean-Off system.

The Sokoke magnetic sweeper is a bigger and stronger version of the existing Meerkat magnetic sweeper, The Sokoke is meant for tougher jobs and heavier equipment while also a viable option for skid steers. The bracket assemblies have pre-drilled bolt holes to accept one of five brackets available from Bluestreak Equipment. Allowing you to use the Sokoke on many popular front-end loader models or skid steers, depending on which bracket is purchased with the Sokoke.
This versatile magnetic sweeper has three 29”-inch x 9”-inch x 6.25”-inch magnet assemblies that pivot on UHMW bushings which allows the metal debris stuck on the stainless-steel debris pan to be separated from the magnetic field by swinging the magnets away from the debris pan using gravity.

The Rhino tow behind magnetic sweeper, known as the “Big Brother” of the HOG magnetic sweeper, is ready for some very severe duty conditions with a range of options and off road features.

Magnetic Sweepers are used on construction sites for picking up nails and other metal hazards. They help reduce flat tires and human injuries caused by metal debris. They pick up wire, nails, screws, scrap metal, bolts, etc. faster and easier than other methods.
Construction sites have all kinds of debris sources and overall debris is considered moderate to high and the need for control is also moderate to high because of the potential for flat tires and injuries.
It’s true most contractors don’t care about metal debris such as wire, nails, screws, scrap metal, bolts, etc. as long it’s not causing them too many flats especially if there isn’t any obligation to clean up the site in the contract. Many contractors don’t want to spend the time and money to clean up a site during or after construction, because it takes time and money.
But some contractors do try and keep construction site debris confined to the site first of all. They also do some preventative sweeping knowing that if it prevents one flat tire their efforts are worth it in terms of reduced costs and avoided delays or downtime. They also know that keeping a clean site, and keeping good relations in the area is not only in their interest but more importantly it also means that the client has a good impression of the contractor and in the end it leads to satisfied customers and future referrals.
This may seem like common sense. If you go to a construction site and it’s a total disaster, your confidence that other things are done right comes into question. If you go to a construction site that is kept clean and orderly, and if you see a contractor keeping the debris contained to the site, and cleaned up to protect the workers and equipment, we all think that if the contractor is doing these things, they must be doing a lot of the little things right as well, and it would be true usually.

The term “construction magnet” is a broad term encompassing magnetic devices used to keep construction worksites clear of any foreign ferrous metal objects that may injure employees or damage equipment. Some of the most commonly utilized are magnetic sweepers, which come in numerous variations to suit different cleanup needs. Those engineered for flat surfaces are suitable for concrete or asphalt, while those engineered for all terrains can be used on-road or off-road.
