The Piranha magnetic sweeper is a tow behind model designed for fast, aggressive cleaning of road and highway metal debris. Unique Slingjaw clean off system dumps debris into on board debris trays and holds it for later disposal.
The Piranha was designed for cleaning large areas like highways and therefore was given some special features. First of all, lots of power, to allow greater speed while still picking up debris.
It was given an adjustable sweeping height from 2" to 3" inches since it was designed to travel on flat surfaces. It was also given on board debris bins since when cleaning large areas, you could be a long way from home when you need to clean off the magnet.
Available in a six foot or eight foot sweeping width.

The ISO magnetic sweeper is a hanging magnet design specifically designed for highway maintenance operations.

Maximize Safety and Speed with the new industry standard for heavy truck magnetic sweeping
The Baffin magnetic sweeper is designed to be the premier front mounted heavy commercial truck magnet on the market. It’s suspension system keeps the magnet planted at the right height through hard turns and over bumps to eliminate the need for constant height adjustment. The Baffin also has a clean-off system that allows drivers to empty the magnet quickly and safely from the truck cab without ever having to get out of the truck or handle debris.
With a maximum pickup height of 10.75”, the Baffin is well suited to collect any metal debris up to 25 km/h (~15 mph) at the recommended sweeping height of 2” inches.
And the two on-board removable 1.65 cubic foot debris bins allow for the 95” inch wide magnet to be cleaned off multiple times before the bins need to be emptied. This increases efficiency by letting the magnet spend more time sweeping. And by easily keeping the magnet clear of debris there is more power available to collect debris which further increases efficiency.
Sweeping height adjustment (recommended 2”-5” inches) is done using stroke control blocks on the hydraulic cylinders. Moving from sweeping height to the travelling height of 10.5” inches just requires a cycle of the hydraulics (this position can be maintained by inserting all the supplied stroke control blocks or you may rely on the hydraulic system to keep the magnet suspended).

Easily attach the Wrasse magnetic bar to road cleaning equipment and pick up ferrous metal debris on roads and sides of roads quickly and easily. The Wrasse can hang from any piece of equipment used in road maintenance such as pickup trucks, line painting trucks, road side shoulder graders, road side grass cutting tractors and sweepers.
The Wrasse functions well as long as the ground is fairly even so that the magnet doesn't hit the ground all the time and the Wrasse allows the equipment operators to clean while they do their normal tasks.
While competing hanging magnetic bars are always in the 2" x 5" size range, Bluestreak offers two bigger more powerful sizes of the Wrasse in the 3"x 3" and 4.5" x 4.5" to allow even higher hanging heights if necessary and better performance.

The PYR hanging magnet was designed for flat terrain and “on road” type uses where not much ground strike prevention is needed. “On road” type bump wheels are provided on the ends to eliminate magnet strikes due to occasional potholes, inclines/declines and speed bump type obstacles.

Easy Clean-Off Side-Shifting Hanging Grader Magnet. Keep Roads Clear and Safe with the Ananke!
The Ananke is a hanging magnet that is loaded with convenience and durability features designed to operate in harsh environments like mines, highways and in military road clearing settings and increase productivity of any grader with rear auxiliary hydraulics. Remote controlled height adjustment without leaving the cab of your vehicle!
With outdoor rated IP65 12-volt DC actuators rated at 562 lbs each and 7.5” inches of up and down movement for remote controlled raising and lowering of magnet from raised travelling to lowered sweeping position.
The ALPHA is the same as the AETHER magnetic sweeper but with the addition of the remote-controlled electric actuators for up and down movement.

The Erebus Heavy Duty Offroad Hanging Magnet is built to clean metal from the toughest job sites, the onboard out-riggers and aluminum sleeve protect the magnet housing from ground strikes and scrapes. The Erebus also has 10.5 “ x 3.25” Carlisle flat free bump wheels that allow the magnet to roll over changing terrain rather than hit the aluminum clean off sleeve off the ground. The wheel bearings have been replaced with custom 5/8” UHMW bushings that can withstand greater impacts and roll smoothly.
From recycling centers to highway maintenance, the Erebus is a heavy duty durable magnet with exceptional pickup power. It can pick up a 2.5” 8 penny nail from 8.25” off the ground, so in the recommended sweeping height range of 3-5” there is plenty of power available to collect metal debris. The aluminum clean off sleeve resists crush forces that normally make clean off sleeves difficult to remove and slides easily on PVC rails inside the aluminum sleeve that prevent friction.

Pyr 4.5"x4.5"Clean up metal debris on roads and highways quickly and easily.
An underestimated highway danger!
Almost always the problem of metal debris on roads and highways is underestimated when sweeping operations start because no one person or entity bears the burden of flat tires and no data exists on the numbers or costs of metal debris problems. But metal debris problems always exists from parts falling off vehicles themselves, accident sites and from metal falling off the loads being carried by vehicles.
Luckily much of this debris either lands on the side of the road as it falls off, or it somehow gets hit by a vehicle after landing on the road and ends up on the side of the road afterward. But there is always some debris that lands and stays on the road. This debris can be hit by vehicles causing flat tires or accidents.
Metal debris on roads and side of roads just keeps accumulating. While it’s fairly innocuous on the side the road, the side of the road becomes quite a risky place on which to pull your vehicle over.
Luckily cleaning debris from roads and sides of roads is quite easy to do with a magnetic sweeper.
Take a bite out of metal debris hazards!
Choose from a Piranha tow behind magnetic sweeper, Wrasse or ISO hanging magnetic sweeper
For large multi-lane divided highways with paved shoulders there is usually a periodic cleanup of road sides with major debris being picked up by hand by personnel deployed in a pickup truck. In this case the pickup truck can be equipped with a tow behind Piranha magnetic sweeper as the personnel and truck pick up the larger debris.
If pickup trucks are routinely patrolling the road sides they can also be outfitted with a ISO hanging magnetic bar. Roads with gravel shoulders and adjacent grass lined ditches are seasonally graded with a road grader and / or the grass is cut with a tractor and side mower which also can be outfitted with a Wrasse hanging magnetic bar.
In either case the grader or tractor travels down the gravel shoulder of the road at a relatively slow speed providing the perfect opportunity to sweep for harmful metal debris by attaching a hanging magnetic sweeper to the tractor and grader.
Similarly, when line painting is done, it is a perfect opportunity to sweep for metal debris on the roads themselves by attaching a hanging magnetic sweeper from the trucks or using the tow behind piranha magnetic sweeper.
