Maximize Safety and Speed with the new industry standard for heavy truck magnetic sweeping
The Baffin magnetic sweeper is designed to be the premier front mounted heavy commercial truck magnet on the market. It’s suspension system keeps the magnet planted at the right height through hard turns and over bumps to eliminate the need for constant height adjustment. The Baffin also has a clean-off system that allows drivers to empty the magnet quickly and safely from the truck cab without ever having to get out of the truck or handle debris.
With a maximum pickup height of 10.75”, the Baffin is well suited to collect any metal debris up to 25 km/h (~15 mph) at the recommended sweeping height of 2” inches.
And the two on-board removable 1.65 cubic foot debris bins allow for the 95” inch wide magnet to be cleaned off multiple times before the bins need to be emptied. This increases efficiency by letting the magnet spend more time sweeping. And by easily keeping the magnet clear of debris there is more power available to collect debris which further increases efficiency.
Sweeping height adjustment (recommended 2”-5” inches) is done using stroke control blocks on the hydraulic cylinders. Moving from sweeping height to the travelling height of 10.5” inches just requires a cycle of the hydraulics (this position can be maintained by inserting all the supplied stroke control blocks or you may rely on the hydraulic system to keep the magnet suspended).

The Piranha magnetic sweeper is a tow behind model designed for fast, aggressive cleaning of shipping terminals. Unique Slingjaw clean off system dumps debris into the on board debris trays and holds it for later disposal.

Economical rear pin mount Forklift magnet. Simple design in one size.
The KURSK forklift magnet is a rear pin mount design whose frame only adds 2.25” inches to the back profile of the forklift. The magnet bar itself is not positioned under the forklift counterweight like the NAOS, but rather hangs straight down from the KURSK frame and therefore will also stick out from the back of the forklift, but the single 20” inch magnet bar width keeps this to a minimum.
Ground strike protection is provided by chains that allow upwards and forward/backward movement which allows the magnet to swing up and out of the way if the magnet strikes the ground or an object.

Heavy Duty Fork Mounted Magnet! With pivoting debris tray for easy debris removal.
The OBLAST forklift magnet is a fork mount design that allows you to use your forklift to pick up ferrous metal debris and then lift the OBLAST over a disposal / scrap bin for easy removal by using the easy flip down pivoting stainless steel debris tray.
Heavy duty construction of steel and stainless, with UHMW bushings on the rotating stainless steel debris tray for long life and a solid feel.
Ground strike protection is provided by the angled front and rear of the stainless steel debris tray which reduces the width of the bottom flat section and therefore limits magnet contact with the ground, and prevents damage if the magnet does contact the ground because there is no hard edge to “catch” on the ground.

Remote controlled height adjustment without leaving the cab of your vehicle!
With outdoor rated IP65 12-volt DC actuators rated at 562 lbs each and 7.5” inches of up and down movement for remote controlled raising and lowering of magnet from raised travelling to lowered sweeping position.
The ALPHA is the same as the AETHER magnetic sweeper but with the addition of the remote-controlled electric actuators for up and down movement.

The UPLAND is a fork mounted magnetic sweeper that can pickup any ferrous debris such as: nails, screws, wire, discarded fabrication material, bolts, nuts, pins, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc. The debris can easily be dumped into a bin using the flip down stainless-steel debris tray.
Heavy duty construction of steel and stainless, with UHMW bushings on all pivot points of the UPLAND ensures a long life for the UPLAND and a solid feel on every motion.
The UPLAND features 10” of vertical suspension travel and 360 degrees of pivot movement rolling on 16.5” flat proof tires. This allows operators to set the UPLAND at a sweeping height of 1 – 4” inches which will be maintained over rough terrain by the ground tracking system.

Shipping terminals suffering from costly unscheduled downtown and flat tire repair costs can be helped by keeping the site clear of flat tire causing metal debris. Metal debris is a built in problem at shipping terminals because of the locking tags and devices that are cut off container doors and from all of the truck container movement. But most metal debris at shipping terminals can quickly and easily be picked up with a magnetic sweeper.
The debris in shipping terminals is considered light but the need for FOD control is considered moderate due to the cost of damage to tires of equipment and trucks and the related schedule disruptions.
Our best options for shipping terminals is are either to use an ISO hanging magnet, a Forager or Guardian forklift magnet or a Piranha tow behind magnet.
