The NAOS Low Profile Rear Mounted Forklift Magnet adds only 1.75” inches to the rear profile of your forklift by tucking the magnet under the rear counterweight where it’s safest and at the same time maintaining the maneuverability of your lift truck in confined spaces.
The NAOS mounts on the rear pin of the forklift and doesn’t interfere with exhaust even if the exhaust on your forklift is vented through the pin slot.
No modifications to your forklift are necessary to mount the NAOS. The NAOS ONLY uses the existing pin on your forklift for mounting. You don’t have to modify, weld on or drill into your forklift to mount the NAOS.
The NAOS can be mounted to forklifts of many sizes and shapes. The 4 sizes of the NAOS combined with multiple sizes of brackets that come with NAOS allow the NAOS to accommodate forklifts of all kinds while not interfering with rear steering wheels (see FIT guidelines for how to verify if the NAOS will fit your lift truck)

The NAOS Low Profile Rear Mounted Forklift Magnet has a super slim compact design that adds only 1 ¾” inches to the overall length and profile or your forklift so it doesn’t interfere with forklift operations in confined spaces. The NAOS Low Profile Rear Mounted Forklift Magnet comes in 4 different sizes. Each size is a different magnet width to accommodate forklifts of different widths. Choose from a 18, 20, 22 or 24 inch wide NAOS model.

Simply undo the wing nuts and swing the NAOS magnet up and out to waist height where you can wipe the magnet off with a glove or rag directly into a garbage bin. Quick and Easy.
Clamping system design allows continuous sweeping height adjustment with no predefined positions allowing you to precisely set the sweeping height to best suit your job site conditions.
NAOS Magnet Sweeping Height Adjustment Feature
To adjust the sweeping height of the magnet simply loosen the 0.5” inch steel hex nuts which will loosen off the Steel Mounting Clamp, you can then move the frame of the NAOS up or down to precisely set your desired sweeping height.
The magnet mounting arms that extend the magnet under the forklift can also pivot upward to prevent damage in the event the magnet strikes the ground

The Naos is designed with pivoting magnet mounting arms to allow the magnet to move upwards to reduce the Naos’s lowest point by up to 2″ if needed.
At the recommended 2″ inch sweeping height, this means the magnet can move up another 2″ inches so that the lowest point on the Naos is 4″ inches off the ground.
This helps to avoid any damage to the magnet caused from hitting a pothole or encountering uneven surfaces.
The NAOS Low Profile Rear Mounted Forklift Magnet can also pivot backward or forward out of the way if it hits something occasionally on the ground. This pivot feature combined with the Magnet Mounting Arms pivot feature allows the magnet to swing up and out of the way when hit
It isn’t a guarantee of no damages if you hit something, but it eliminates damages in most circumstances where the magnet hits something.
The NAOS will pick up a 2.5” nail when the bottom of the magnet is 4.25” off the ground providing plenty of pickup power performance in dirt and gravel and when operating on moving forklifts. To maximize performance we recommend setting sweeping height at 2” inches in most situations.
The NAOS uses permanently charged grade C8 magnets that will never need to be recharged. Power will never decrease, ensuring years of use.
The NAOS magnet is completely enclosed within the 1 ½” inch high x 3” inch wide aluminum magnet housing. And the housing length depends on the size of NAOS model chosen. The magnet inside the housing is 1” inch high x 2 ½” inch wide unspaced but is 1” from each end of the magnet housing to allow for the housing end caps.
Many commercial and industrial facilities have a need to eliminate flat tires on forklifts and other vehicles entering and exiting their properties. The cost, interruptions and delays that flat tires cause create the need to for the use of a magnetic sweeper and the NAOS was designed specifically to pick up and remove debris that causes flat tires such as nails, screws, wire, discarded pieces of metal from fabrication activities, bolts, nuts, pins, screw drivers, wrenches, etc.
The NAOS allows you to clean up metal debris as other normal activities are carried out without adding more permanently ongoing labor costs to do so. It results in negligible additional labor costs to solve the problem of flat tires because the magnet is picking up debris as the forklift does normal activities. By eliminating current and future labor costs of solving the flat tire problem, the payback period of investing in the NAOS magnetic sweeper is greatly reduced.
