The Forager Rear Pin Mounted Magnetic Sweeper is designed to fit almost every brand and size of forklift on the market right out of the box.
The Forager utilizes the rear pin on your forklift as the mounting point and the Forager mounting bracket is vented to ensure the pin mount can be used even if the exhaust on your forklift is vented through the pin slot.
No modifications to your forklift are necessary to mount the Forager. The mounting bracket uses the existing pin on your forklift ONLY. There is no need to modify, weld on or drill into your forklift in order to mount the Forager.
The Forager Rear Pin Mounted Magnetic Sweeper can be mounted to forklifts of varying sizes. The multiple installation bracket positions combined with the adjustable sweeping height ensures different height forklifts of every kind are accommodated.
The Forager was designed specifically to pickup and remove debris such as nails, screws, wire, discarded pieces from fabrication activities, bolts, nuts, pins, screw drivers, wrenches, etc. while operating the forklift.

Sand Blasted Steel Frame for Smooth & Durable Paint Finish
The steel frame is sand blasted and coated with high quality black paint for durability that will continue to look good for years to come. Parts are blasted with Kerfjet #80 Garnet Stone and then primered with PPG High Build Epoxy primer (2 coats). It is then finished with PPG UROTEC Gloss Black (2 coats) and allowed to dry for 1 full day. Blasting with stone rather than sand creates a cleaner and smoother finish to prep for painting which provides a high quality “smooth” finished paint appearance. The paint finish is a urethane product which provides a harder finish than regular fast dry industrial paint or rust paint. This harder finish means it doesn’t scratch as easily and has a longer life.
Additional Magnet Protection
Metal debris hitting the aluminum magnet housing can wear the aluminum housing on the magnet over a long period of time and reduce its useful service life, therefore we’ve shifted the wear to the replaceable and removable PVC Quick Clean Off Sleeve that not only makes clean off quick and easy but it extends the life of the Forager magnet.

The cost, interruptions and delays that flat tires cause create the need for the use of a magnetic sweeper. The Forager was designed specifically to pick up and remove debris that causes flat tires such as nails, screws, wire, discarded pieces of metal from fabrication activities, bolts, nuts, pins, screw drivers, wrenches, etc.
The Forager allows you to clean up metal debris as other normal activities are carried out without adding more permanently ongoing labor costs. It results in negligible additional labor costs to solve the problem of flat tires because the magnet is picking up debris as the forklift does normal activities. By eliminating current and future labor costs of solving the flat tire problem, the payback period of investing in the Forager magnetic sweeper is greatly reduced. The Forager Rear Pin Mounted Magnetic Sweeper comes standard with a black PVC Quick Clean Off Sleeve. Simply pull the sleeve off and all of the debris falls off the magnet on the side you pulled the sleeve off from. Clean off takes only seconds.

The vertical installation angle of the Forager is easily adjustable to accommodate different rear forklift geometries of every kind.
Vertically tilting the Forager at different angles fine tunes the fit of the magnet to your forklift.
Adjusting the magnet sweeping height is easy on the Forager with just a twist of the handle on the top. The Forager will pick up a 2.5” nail when the bottom of the magnet is 8.5” off the ground providing plenty of pickup power performance in dirt and gravel and when operating on moving forklifts. To maximize performance we recommend setting sweeping height between 3 and 4 inches in most situations.
The Forager Rear Pin Mounted Magnetic Sweeper is compact in size and adds only 8 inches to the overall length of your forklift so it doesn’t interfere with forklift operations. For further information see the CAD section for CAD drawings showing overall dimensions of the Forager.
The Forager uses permanently charged grade C8 magnets that will never need to be recharged. Power will never decrease, ensuring years of use.
The Forager magnet is completely enclosed, and the replaceable black PVC Quick Clean Off Sleeve further protects the magnet by taking all of the wear and tear of everyday use.
