Precast Concrete facilities continuously generate metal debris, usually in the form of wires, strapping, rebar or cables. To keep this problem under control, magnetic sweepers need to be run on an ongoing basis. Operators can choose from a front mounted magnet that is run on a schedule to keep metal under control, however this will interfere with the machine’s normal operations. On the other hand, a mid / rear mounted magnet that can be permanently attached without interrupting the machine’s operations and cleans continuously to keep yards clear. Front mounted magnets generally offer more power and offroad capability, while rear or mid mounted magnets are often more convenient to operate as they can be permanently mounted. So the type of debris or terrain in the yard you want to clean will dictate which sweeper type is best suited to your situation.
The AETHER hanging magnet was designed for those off road dirt and gravel situations where more ground strike prevention is needed than the EIGER provides, but less ground strike prevention than the REMORAS provides.
The 10” x 3” flat proof bump wheels on the ends prevent the magnet from hitting the ground and from sinking into loose surfaces, and the wheeled outriggers provide additional ground strike prevention in the middle of the magnet’s overall length.

The Remoras magnet is an “all terrain” hanging magnet that you can attach to equipment you already use and own. This magnet is specifically designed to withstand frequent ground hits while picking up metal debris from uneven and rough surfaces with potholes and ruts.
Normal hanging magnetic sweepers like the Wrasse series can’t stand up to the pounding of hitting the ground over and over as the equipment wheels go into ruts and potholes, but the Remoras series can withstand frequent ground hits with no damage to the magnet housing itself. A protective cage protects the magnetic housing from hitting the ground when your vehicle travels over uneven, rough terrain.
Magnets of this type are very useful if there are severe ruts in industrial yards caused by constant use over the same path by heavy vehicles.

The Nyx Heavy Duty Hanging Magnetic Sweeper is built to endure heavy duty terrain while clearing metal debris. An Aluminum quick clean off sleeve protects the magnet housing from impacts and crush forces and allows debris to be removed from the magnetic field quickly and easily.
The Nyx also features 10.5” x 3.25” inch Carlisle flat free wheels with UHMW bushings replacing standard ball bearings for greater impact resistance and smooth operation. These wheels will touch down on terrain changes before the clean off sleeve so the Nyx can glide over obstacles rather than strike the ground.
A 4.5” x 4.5” inch permanently charged C8 magnet housing allows the Nyx to pull a 2.5” inch 8 penny nail from up to 8.25” inches off the ground. The Erebus Heavy Duty Offroad Hanging Magnet is built to clean metal from the toughest job sites, the onboard out-riggers and aluminum sleeve protect the magnet housing from ground strikes and scrapes. The Erebus also has 10.5 “ x 3.25” Carlisle flat free bump wheels that allow the magnet to roll over changing terrain rather than hit the aluminum clean off sleeve off the ground. The wheel bearings have been replaced with custom 5/8” UHMW bushings that can withstand greater impacts and roll smoothly.
From recycling centers to highway maintenance, the Erebus is a heavy duty durable magnet with exceptional pickup power. It can pick up a 2.5” 8 penny nail from 8.25” off the ground, so in the recommended sweeping height range of 3-5” there is plenty of power available to collect metal debris. The aluminum clean off sleeve resists crush forces that normally make clean off sleeves difficult to remove and slides easily on PVC rails inside the aluminum sleeve that prevent friction.

The OBLAST forklift magnet is a fork mount design that allows you to use your forklift to pick up ferrous metal debris and then lift the OBLAST over a disposal / scrap bin for easy removal by using the easy flip down pivoting stainless steel debris tray.
Heavy duty construction of steel and stainless, with UHMW bushings on the rotating stainless steel debris tray for long life and a solid feel.
Ground strike protection is provided by the angled front and rear of the stainless steel debris tray which reduces the width of the bottom flat section and therefore limits magnet contact with the ground, and prevents damage if the magnet does contact the ground because there is no hard edge to “catch” on the ground.
Upward clamping fork pockets provides greater contact of the fork pockets with the forklift forks and therefore provides greater stability to reduce magnet “slippage” on the forks.

The UPLAND is a fork mounted magnetic sweeper that can pickup any ferrous debris such as: nails, screws, wire, discarded fabrication material, bolts, nuts, pins, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc. The debris can easily be dumped into a bin using the flip down stainless-steel debris tray.
Heavy duty construction of steel and stainless, with UHMW bushings on all pivot points of the UPLAND ensures a long life for the UPLAND and a solid feel on every motion.
The UPLAND features 10” of vertical suspension travel and 360 degrees of pivot movement rolling on 16.5” flat proof tires. This allows operators to set the UPLAND at a sweeping height of 1 – 4” inches which will be maintained over rough terrain by the ground tracking system.
Upward clamping fork pockets provides greater contact of the fork pockets with the forks and therefore provides greater stability to reduce magnet “slippage”.

The Nova Fork Mounted Magnetic Sweeper is a powerful 74” wide magnet that is built to cover ground quickly and easily with little effort from the forklift operator thanks to the ground tracking system, and remote clean off functions.
The ground tracking system keeps the magnet rolling at your selected sweeping height through rough terrain with 11” of vertical suspension travel and 360 degrees of pivot movement that allows the forklift to travel and turn without being impeded by the Nova as it rolls on 16.5” urethane foam filled tires.
The 6” inch by 8” inch magnet housing will pick up a 2.5” inch 8 penny nail from 12”inches off the ground, giving more than enough pickup power to retrieve most kinds of metal debris at speed including nails, bolts, wrenches, trailer / container seals / locks.
The Nova uses two remote activated 12-volt linear actuators powered by an on-board battery with 450lbs of pressing power each. Once activated from the seat of the forklift via remote control, the actuators press against a 16-gauge stainless steel debris pan which separates the collected debris from the magnet field to easily clean off the magnet into any container or dumpster.

The Forager XL is a bigger version of the popular Forager magnetic sweeper that used to be the largest rear mounted forklift magnet available on the market. It can adjust to fit almost any forklift on the market right out of the box. The Forager XL steel mounting bracket attaches to the rear pin of a forklift and is vented to allow for exhaust gases to flow freely even if it is routed through the rear pin port. This bracket hugs the counterweight on the forklift and allows the Forager XL to mount on most forklift rear pins.
The Forager XL Heavy Duty Rear Mounted Forklift Magnet comes in 3 sweeping widths and features a 7×7” permanently charged C8 ceramic magnet housing that can pick up a 2.5” nail from 12” off the ground. This allows the Forager XL to collect metal debris effectively while being mounted high enough to avoid ground strikes when operating on larger forklifts in rough terrain.
The Forager XL also features an aluminum Quick Clean Off Sleeve which makes cleaning debris off the magnet easier and protects the magnet housing from impacts while preventing the collected metal debris from pressing the sleeve against the magnet housing making it hard to clean off. Further protection to the magnet is provided by allowing the magnet housing to pivot fore and aft and allowing the magnet to move up in the housing to prevent damage from ground strikes.

The Lynx magnetic sweeper is powered by a permanently charged 4.5” x 4.5” C8 magnet assembly which is light enough to work on any skid steer or track loader and almost any sub compact tractor with loader arms and a universal skid steer adaptor plate.
The Lynx front mount magnet is powerful enough to hold onto a 108lbs I Beam and pick up a 2.5” inch nail from up to 8.5” inches off the ground. So it will have no problem collected most types of debris in the recommended sweeping height range of 2 to 5 inches.
With a sturdy 3/16” inch aluminum debris pan and wrap around function that snaps debris to the back of the magnet if the ground is hit, the Lynx can withstand ground strikes without losing collected debris. No Hydraulic Connection Required
Just hook into the Meerkat and go without needing to attach hydraulic connections. The Meerkat is a powerful magnetic sweeper that attaches to any skid steer or track loader with a universal adapter plate. This sweeper has three pivoting C8 magnets that can pick up a 2.5” nail from 10” off the ground and easily release it using the gravity powered Swing-Out Clean-Off system.
The three magnet assemblies are each 6.8” W x 5.25” H x 20.75” L and pivot on UHMW bushings for a smooth action on clean-off that functions like emptying a normal bucket; using gravity to separate the magnets from the stainless debris pan which releases collected metal.

The Sokoke magnetic sweeper is a bigger and stronger version of the existing Meerkat magnetic sweeper, The Sokoke is meant for tougher jobs and heavier equipment while also a viable option for skid steers. The bracket assemblies have pre-drilled bolt holes to accept one of five brackets available from Bluestreak Equipment. Allowing you to use the Sokoke on many popular front-end loader models or skid steers, depending on which bracket is purchased with the Sokoke.
This versatile magnetic sweeper has three 29”-inch x 9”-inch x 6.25”-inch magnet assemblies that pivot on UHMW bushings which allows the metal debris stuck on the stainless-steel debris pan to be separated from the magnetic field by swinging the magnets away from the debris pan using gravity.
This clean-off system allows the operator to raise the Sokoke over a scrap bin and empty the debris off by tipping it forward just like emptying a bucket. No one needs to manually handle the metal debris, which increases safety and efficiency.
The Sokoke also has the capability to accept the Debris Digging Rake accessory, this allows an operator to dig up debris that may be embedded under the surface after being runover by heavy machinery so it can be collected. The rakes also allow an operator to have a clear visual indicator of where they have swept while grooming the land, creating a more uniform surface.

The Remoras is really only needed instead of the Wrasse if you plan on mounting the magnet under a vehicle like an outdoor forklift and that vehicle operates around a facility with ruts, potholes etc. that would cause the magnet to hit the ground. The Remoras is needed in this case because the protective cage around the magnet protects the magnet when it hits the ground.

Precast concrete and prestressed concrete manufacturing facilities and yards are littered with pieces of medal debris that needs to be picked up from very large areas and yards.
The metal debris problem is usually in the form of cut off pieces of wire, cable, nails and metal strapping that can damage tires on trucks and forklifts and build up over time.
The debris problem is high and the need to control it is high due to potential tire damage on forklifts, trucks and other vehicles.
