This video shows the Edger working to pick up shot against a garage door with an explanation on how it works.
The Edger attachment fits to a continuous discharge magnetic sweeper to throw shot from up against a wall in front of the main magnet assembly to avoid having to use a broom to get shot away from walls.
The Edger was built to work for a long time so it has parts available that can be easily replaced so once the wear items need to be replaced the parts are only a click away. The video below goes over the parts on an Edger that will need to be replaced from normal operation.
This accessory is designed to work with the Theta or Fusion Shotblast magnets to collect all shot accumulated against walls or edges on site. The Edger picks up shot from walls and throws the shot in front of the main sweeper housing for more thorough and efficient cleaning after shotblasting.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If fitting this accessory to a Theta or Fusion purchased before February 5th 2024 you must purchase part #8 for the Theta or Fusion to retrofit the Edger. Units purchased before February 5th 2024 do not have the holes required to mount the Edger.
