Darren Slater - Purchasing Manager
Darren Slater is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the automotive sector. Having spent 17 years as a stamping specialist and shift supervisor, he brings a deep understanding of production and operations. Darren joined our company in May 2023 as a production specialist and has since embraced a new career path in purchasing, where he applies his industry expertise to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. A lifelong resident of the area, Darren is committed to driving efficiency and success in every role he takes on.
Brenda Vanwynsberghe – Accounting Coordinator
Brenda is an administrative professional with a dedication to accuracy and efficiency in managing financial records and administrative processes, playing a vital role in the smooth operation of her organization. With a friendly and supportive approach, Brenda ensures smooth administrative functions. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills. Outside of her professional life, Brenda cherishes spending quality time with her family, finding joy and balance in those moments.
Shuyue Zhang - Mechanical Designer
Shuyue Zhang is a detail-oriented individual with good learning and problem-solving skills. She did her undergrad in Mechanical Engineering with a Manufacturing Minor at University of Calgary. She also holds a Master of Engineering from University of Toronto.
John Maguire - Product Designer
John has worked on a variety of projects including coffee machines, 3D printers and MRI equipment. At Bluestreak Equipment he has been focused on developing solutions for collecting nonmagnetic debris. John studied mechanical engineering at Lakehead University.
Shane Glendinning - Website Manager
Shane is a proud Honours graduate of the Web Developer program at Durham College, where he earned recognition on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. With over 20 years of experience as a self-employed developer, Shane has built a strong foundation in custom web application programming, specializing in server-side scripting, database design and querying, and front-end development. Since 2018, Shane has worked closely with Bluestreak Equipment Inc. as a freelance developer, and in 2024, he transitioned to a full-time role.
Marshall Hammond - Marketing Manager
Marshall Hammond Holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing from the University of Guelph, focused on strategy and content development. His experience working in the construction, landscaping, and agricultural industries give him perspective on potential industry use cases to create a clear vision of how and where Bluestreak should be represented.
Tony Bouk - President & CEO
Tony Bouk (CEO, GreenBug Energy Inc) holds a BA Economics from the University of Western Ontario, two years of Accounting in the Graduate Chartered Accountancy program at McGill University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario as well as an Ivey MBA certificate in Entrepreneurship. He began his career with Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants before moving quickly to industry. He brings extensive experience starting and growing several successful businesses in Canada and the United States. He was General Manager of one of the largest greenhouse operations in the USA and has consulted on the recovery and turnaround of other large firms in the industry on three occasions. In 2005 he co-founded Bluestreak Equipment Inc. and in 2011 Tony co-founded GreenBug Energy Inc. He continues to act as President & CEO of both organizations.
Brian Weber - Product Development Manager
Brian Weber is a Certified tool and die maker with extensive experience supervising the manufacturing and optimization of deep draw stamping tooling for the automotive industry before co-founding Bluestreak Equipment with Tony Bouk in 2005. He has extensive experience in design, testing, tooling and all aspects of fabrication in addition to procurement management.
