The Bora Heavy Duty Rolling Magnet was originally designed for commercial type flat surfaces where no grass or dirt or uneven surfaces would be encountered and therefore does not have the “wrap around” feature, but by not having the wrap around feature it allowed the Bora to be designed with a super strong supporting back frame in the form of a 2” by 2” tube welded to both sides to increase the Bora’s durability.
Because the Bora Heavy Duty Rolling Magnet was designed for commercial applications it has the biggest magnet we make in a push type sweeper, with two layers of C8 ceramic magnets packed end to end, unspaced, with a steel backing plate to make the magnetic field larger and extend it downward.
We don’t space our magnets out in the housing like most competitors do. This not only means there is more magnet in our housings, but it makes the magnetic field larger.
The Bora is ideally suited to manufacturing facilities, trucking yards, around landfill scales, picking up steel shot from shot blasting operations, and many other commercial or industrial applications.
Debris release handle lifts the magnetic housing out of the tray. Debris then drops off the bottom of sweeper, no lifting or bending over.
Two layers of C8 ceramic magnets packed end to end, unspaced, with steel backing plate to make the magnetic field larger and extend it downward.
Control the sweeping height with three wheel height settings of 1″, 2″ and 3″ to accommodate any situation.

This company has the best magnetic sweepers, we have been using them for years. The only ones we sell and use. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality magnetic sweeper. They’re worth the money.
Im slightly less than 50/50 on this review. The Bora design is great for a shop floor, but only if you have a big open shop. It’s not so great for smaller shops and not so great for the outdoors. I work construction and often need to pick up nails from the job site, but the Bora does not have the wrap around feature like the RIP series, and so nails, welding scraps, and other smaller material constantly get picked up, then just get scraped right back off. Trust me, it’s extremely annoying. The other problem I have is the smallest width of the Bora is still too wide. It makes it hard to push and maneuver around work site obstacles and other shop equipment. Trust me, get the smallest width available, you’ll thank me later. The magnet is strong for sure, and in some cases maybe a bit too strong because smaller metal objects stay stuck to the platform even after the magnet is released. My last complaint is my Bora squeaked a lot! It’s because the hinge was welded crooked and not square to the platform. I did grind off the hinge and reweld it square so now it’s okay, I just wish it was a little higher quality for the money I paid to be honest. At first, I did try and return the Bora, and Bluestreak was great, but return shipping was too much so I decided to keep it. So now I’m kind of stuck with an expensive inferior product.
Hi Jeff, Thanks for leaving the review. I’m sorry that the Bora isn’t living up to your expectations. On the Bora product page it is stated in the top description section that the Bora is not recommended for use on grass, if you are trying to get better performance out of it on grass I would recommend you take advantage of the power of the Bora and use it on its highest sweeping height wheel setting, this will hopefully get the collected debris out of the reach of whatever grass you are sweeping on so it doesn’t get wiped off. Also for tighter spaces in shops like cleaning under benches, I would recommend our Powerstik line. The hinge being welded crooked is an unfortunate mistake that could have happened in transit, but if it was our fault we could have rectified it for you and got you a new part if we were alerted of it.
