And the YAK was made to do this easily because it was designed to any fit any UTV side by side vehicle right out of the box by utilizing any UTV snow plow setup as the connection point to the UTV.
If you have a snow plow setup already, you’re ready to mount the YAK. If you don’t have a snow plow setup, you can get one from your local UTV dealer or another aftermarket manufacturer in order to mount the YAK.

Many commercial and industrial facilities, construction sites, landfills, equine facilities and disaster relief workers have a need to eliminate flat tires on vehicles. The cost, interruptions, and delays that flat tires cause create the need for the use of a magnetic sweeper and the YAK was designed specifically to pick up and remove debris that causes flat tires such as nails, screws, wire, discarded pieces of metal from fabrication activities, bolts, nuts, pins, screw drivers, wrenches, etc.
Powerful Pickup Performance of 7 ½ inches
The YAK utilizes permanently charged C8 Ceramic Magnets to provide a strong magnetic field with a maximum lifting height of 7 1/2” using a two and a half inch nail.
The YAK will pick up a 2 ½” nail when the bottom of the magnet is 7 1/2” off the ground providing plenty of pickup power performance in dirt and gravel and when operating on a moving UTV. In speed tests the YAK reliably picks up 2 ½” nails at 13kph, with the sweeping height set at 2 ½” off the ground.
Flat proof tires and adjustable sweeping height to suit any conditions
Sweeping height is adjustable from 1 to 4 inches, in half inch increments, to accommodate any conditions by adjusting the caster wheels up or down.
This is a manual process, done by moving the bolt hole position of the caster, but it can be done in several minutes if needed and most users will generally set the sweeping height once to fit their site conditions and leave it at that height.

The “Wrap Around” magnet design ensures debris never gets wiped off the bottom of the magnet in grass or off road dirty and bumpy conditions.
The “Wrap Around” feature is an essential design feature if you will be using the magnetic sweeper in grass or dirt conditions and is one of the key features that make the YAK truly off-road capable.
Recommended Industry Applications
Easy to USE
Just lower the YAK onto its casters using your UTV winch or other lifting device to start sweeping. The off-road flat-proof 10” x 3” casters ensure a consistent height off the ground is maintained when sweeping and also take the weight off the front of the UTV and allow normal UTV manoeuvering.
To clean off the YAK magnetic sweeper when full of debris, just raise the magnet using your UTV winch or other lifting device, and push down on the clean off handle on the side of the unit.

Debris Release Handle does the job in seconds!!
The YAK comes standard with a Debris Release Lever clean off system. A quick pull on the handle rotates the magnet inside the covered lid resulting in the debris dropping to the ground. Clean off takes only seconds. To make clean off even easier, a double handled orange poly debris catcher is provided to put under the magnet during clean off, which can then catch the debris and be used to dump the debris into a garbage bin.
