What is "Continuous Discharge"?
Continuous discharge means that the magnetic sweeper is continuously being cleaned off while in use.
How do continuous discharge
magnetic sweepers work?
As the magnetic sweeper moves, debris is picked up and moved past the magnetic field by use of a belt or exterior housing and desposited into an onboard debris bin.
What are the advantages of
continuous discharge magnetic sweepers?
They greatly improve productivity because they can pick up large amounts of ferrous metal debris without the need for frequent stopping.
They retain the maxiumum pickup power all the time because they are being continually cleaned off whereas other sweepers lose pickup power as more metal debris is picked up.
What are the disadvantages of
a continuous discharge magnetic sweeper?
Cost. Because they are more complicated to design and manufacture, continuous discharge magnetic sweepers cost more to purchase.
